MARCH MOVIE DAYS

The theme for March Movie Days is “Music Biopics.” The following movies will be shown at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays at the community center:

March 10 – “Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere” (2025) – This film, starring Jeremy Allen White, is an intimate, stripped-down portrait of Bruce Springsteen at a pivotal moment in his life and career.  Set in the early 1980s, the film explores the creation of Nebraska – an album born not from stadiums and spotlights, but from solitude, self-doubt, and a four-track recorder in a New Jersey bedroom.

March 24 – “A Complete Unknown” (2024) – Starring Timothee Chalamet, this portrait of Bob Dylan is at the moment he redefined not only his own career, but the direction of American music.  Set in the early 1960s, the film follows a young, enigmatic Dylan as he arrives in New York City, immerses himself in the folk scene, and quickly rises as a voice of a generation – while quietly resisting being defined by it.

Please sign up in advance for one or both of these films.
