The Department's primary goal is to protect the public's life, health, safety and welfare as it relates to construction and occupancy of buildings. We ensure that all construction, reconstruction, alterations, and repairs conform to the requirements of the State Building, Electrical, Plumbing and Gas codes and the Town of Foxborough Zoning Ordinance and by conducting annual inspections on specified use groups in existing buildings.  Visit the Massachusetts Board of Building Regulations and Standards at www. mass.gov/dps.
