About the site
The town compost site is located on East Belcher Road. While the town owns the land, the site itself is run by Tree Tech. For more information, call them at the number below.

Monday, April 3th thru Late November/Early December (exact date TBD).

Stickers for Foxboro Residents Only  Compost site stickers are available at the Compost Site on East Belcher Road during regular business hours (see below). Proof of Foxboro residency is required along with a driver’s license.
No Exceptions!

General Rules

  • All stickers must be adhered to the vehicle.
  • All vehicles are subject to inspection of load debris by the site attendant.
  • Vehicles larger than a small dump truck and large trailers are not allowed.  
  • Operator of vehicle must provide driver's license or other acceptable residency identification.
  • Dumping is allowed ONLY when the compost site is open.
  • Leaves and grass must be separated from other materials and dumped in the appropriate area.

Items Accepted

  • Leaves, grass, brush, and branches no larger than 4" in diameter.

Items Not Accepted

  • Plastic bags.
  • Stumps, logs, tree rounds.
  • Landscape timbers, fence or other manufactured wood products.
  • Trash or construction debris of any kind.
  • Green materials containing paints, oils, metal hardware, hazardous waste or any non-biodegradable materials.

Christmas Trees

  • The compost site will be open for one day (to be determined) for disposal of Christmas trees.  Remove tinsel, ornaments, and nails.
