Our Transportation Network
The Town of Foxborough is responsible for the maintenance of approximately 94 miles of roads and 72 miles of sidewalks. Certain areas which include portions of Route 140 (Main Street, north of Authelet Way, and Central Street, south of Bassett Street), Central Street (from Route 140/Commercial Street to the Mansfield Town Line), and Foxborough Boulevard (from #25 to the Mansfield Town Line) are outside of local jurisdiction and owned by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation. There are also a number of private ways which are, by definition, unaccepted by the Town and therefore, in most cases, public funds cannot be utilized to maintain or improve the infrastructure there in.
