Pursuant to the below allegations and Chapter 275 of the Town of Foxborough’s By-laws, I am formally requesting enforcement of said laws.
It is my understanding that as the complainant that I may be asked to participate along with the Inspectional Services Department by appearing in court with the Zoning Officer. I understand my name will not be disclosed unless said disclosure is ordered by the court.
I understand that all parts of this form have to be complete for the form to be reviewed by the Inspectional Services Department. Failure to complete this document in its entirety below will result in the form not being processed, which may delay the investigation.

This page lists the usual procedure when reporting a suspected zoning violation, and the following events (some events are dependent on the determination following the investigation).
INITIAL COMPLAINT: The completed forms must either be submitted via the online form on the Town's website, dropped off in person to the Building Department at Town Hall, or emailed to the Building Commissioner, Scott Shippey ([email protected]). All sections of this form must be completed as they will not be filed (and not subsequently investigated) without all information required.
INVESTIGATION: All correctly filed claims will be thoroughly investigated by the Building Department.
DETERMINATION: After investigation, a Letter of Determination will be issued to both parties by the Zoning Officer. This can result in the filing an appeal, which can be filed by either party.
APPEAL: An appeal would then have to be filed by the aggrieved party through the Zoning Board of Appeals.
