Solicitor Guidelines and Resident Information:
All individuals or companies approved to solicit in Foxborough are required to:

Be registered with the Town

Carry a Foxborough Police Department-issued license

Have a copy of the Town’s Do Not Solicit List
If you're on the Do Not Solicit List and still receive visits, it may indicate that the solicitor is not properly registered and does not have the required materials. If you're comfortable, you may ask the individual to show their official license to verify they are approved by the Town.
If the solicitor cannot provide a license, Chief Grace has asked that residents call 911 to report it. While this may feel like a strong response, it is the official process for handling unregistered solicitors and helps ensure proper follow-up and enforcement.
Many residents also choose to post a "Do Not Solicit" sign on their front door or property, which has proven effective in deterring unwanted visits.
