Snow Emergency and Winter Parking Ban

The Town has declared a snow emergency. A winter parking ban is in effect until further notice.

Closures

All non-essential town offices, including Foxborough Public Schools, will be closed on Monday, January 26th.

The Public Safety Building (8 Chestnut St.) is open 24/7 as a warming station for anyone who needs a place to stay warm or charge devices due to loss of power.

Parking Ban

Please do not park on any street. Keeping streets clear helps plow crews and emergency vehicles get through. Vehicles left on the street may be ticketed or towed.

If your car is towed: call the Police non-emergency line at 508-543-4343.

Alternate parking: Schneider Lot off Bird Street.

Safety Tips

  • Check on neighbors, friends, and family, especially older adults and anyone who may need help.

  • Give yourself extra time if you must travel. Roads can change quickly.

  • Stock up on essentials (medications, food, water, batteries/chargers) and be ready for changing conditions.

  • Keep walkways clear when safe to do so, and watch for slippery surfaces.

  • If you see a downed power line, stay far away and call 911.

  • Sign up for Public Safety and DPW Alerts on FoxAlerts.
